Terms of Service

Effective September 10, 2026

THIS AGREEMENT IS SUBJECT TO A CLASS ACTION WAIVER. YOU AND WE EACH AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTE WILL BE BROUGHT IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY ONLY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF, CLASS MEMBER, OR PARTICIPANT IN ANY CLASS, COLLECTIVE, CONSOLIDATED, COORDINATED, MASS, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.

Welcome to 10,000 Prayers. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and ZOX LLC, a California LLC("we," "us," or "our") governing your use of the 10,000 Prayers mobile application, website, and related services (together, the "Service").

By downloading, opening, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. Using the Service requires creating an account, as described in Section 3. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What the Service Is

10,000 Prayers is a communal prayer experience owned and operated by ZOX. Each day, users may submit a first name and, optionally, a short description of what they would like prayer for. Overnight, submissions are grouped by a broad spiritual theme and woven into a single written prayer, which is sent to all users the following morning for them to pray. Opening the app to read the prayer counts as participating in it.

The Service is free to use, but you must create an account to use it. 10,000 Prayers is a ZOX-owned app, paid for by ZOX, and advertising for ZOX and other sponsors may appear in it.

THE SERVICE IS A SPIRITUAL AND COMMUNITY PRODUCT. IT IS NOT A COUNSELING, MEDICAL, MENTAL HEALTH, LEGAL, FINANCIAL, OR CRISIS SERVICE, AND IT DOES NOT PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL ADVICE OF ANY KIND.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are between 13 and 18, you may use the Service only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. We ask for your date of birth when you create an account and do not permit accounts for anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used the Service, contact us at bros@zox.co and we will delete the relevant information.

3. Accounts

An account is required to use the Service. To create one, you must give us a valid email address and password, or sign in through a third-party provider such as Apple or Google, and you agree that the information you provide is accurate and kept up to date. Your account is personal to you. It holds your archive of prayers and the record of names you have submitted, and you may not share it or allow anyone else to use it. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at bros@zox.co if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

If you delete your account, or if we suspend or terminate it, your access to the Service ends. You will no longer be able to submit names, receive the daily prayer, or view your archive.

4. Prayer Submissions

4.1 What you may submit

You may submit a first name for yourself or for someone else, along with an optional description of a prayer need. Please submit only first names. Do not include last names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, medical record details, financial information, or any other information that could identify a specific person beyond a first name.

4.2 Submitting a name for someone else

When you submit a name for another person, you represent that you have a good-faith relationship with that person, are submitting their name out of care for them and are not submitting any private personal information. Do not submit names of people to harass, mock, expose, or intimidate them.

4.3 How submissions are used

Submissions are processed automatically by artificial intelligence systems, including a third-party AI provider. Each request is read by these systems and assigned to a broad theme. Only the first name and the assigned theme are used in the daily prayer. See Sections 4 and 5 of the Privacy Policy for how submission text is stored, processed, and used in aggregate.

4.4 Prohibited content

You may not submit content that is:

unlawful, threatening, harassing, hateful, or abusive;

confidential;

sexually explicit or exploitative;

intended to promote violence or self-harm;

spam, advertising, or commercial solicitation;

infringing on any third party's rights; or

deliberately intended to manipulate, break, or misuse the prayer generation system.

We may remove, filter, or decline to include any submission at our discretion, without notice.

4.5 No guarantee of inclusion

Because prayers are limited in length and names within a theme are capped, not every submitted name will appear verbatim in the written prayer. Names may be represented within phrases such as "and all those who are grieving." Submitting a name does not guarantee its individual appearance in the prayer text.

5. License to Your Submissions

You retain any rights you have in the content you submit. By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, irrevocable, royalty-free license to store, process, analyze, and use your submission solely for the purpose of operating, improving, and safeguarding the Service, including generating the daily prayer. This license ends when your submission is deleted from our systems in accordance with the Privacy Policy, except to the extent your first name has already been incorporated into a published prayer.

6. The Daily Prayer, Artificial Intelligence, and Sharing

The daily prayer is drafted with artificial intelligence. An automated system processes the day’s submissions, groups them by theme, and composes the prayer text. Human review is a safeguard, not a guarantee. AI systems can produce output that is awkward, mistaken, or out of keeping with a particular tradition, and we do not guarantee that any prayer will meet your expectations or theological convictions. Our reviewers are not necessarily clergy, and the prayer should not be treated as doctrinal teaching.

You may share the daily prayer, share cards, and community counters through the sharing features we provide, for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not sell, republish in bulk, or use the prayers to train competing products or services.

7. Advertising, Ownership, and ZOX

7.1 The Service is free and ad-supported

We do not charge for the Service. It is paid for by advertising. Advertisements, sponsored placements, and promotional messages appear in the app.

7.2 Who owns 10,000 Prayers

10,000 Prayers is owned and operated by ZOX, a consumer brand, through ZOX LLC. We want to be direct about this rather than presenting the app as independent: ZOX builds it, pays for it, and advertises in it.

What ZOX ownership does not mean: 10,000 Prayers is not a product ZOX sells. There is no purchase, subscription, or fee, and using the app never requires buying anything from ZOX.

7.3 Clicking an advertisement takes you off the Service

If you tap or click a ZOX advertisement or any other ad in the app, you will leave 10,000 Prayers and be taken to a website or application operated by ZOX or another third party. That destination is not part of the Service.

Once you leave, the terms of service and privacy policy of that third-party site apply to you. We are not responsible for their content, products, prices, shipping, returns, security practices, or how they collect and use information about you. Any purchase or transaction you make there is between you and that third party. We encourage you to read the terms and privacy policy of any site you are taken to before providing information or making a purchase.

7.4 How ads are selected

The advertisements shown in the app may be selected using aggregated and de-identified information about how the Service is used overall, along with device and app data such as your general region, language, device type, and how you interact with the app. Section 5 of the Privacy Policy describes this in detail, including what is and is not used, and how to opt out.

We do not use the text of your prayer requests to target advertising to you individually. We do not show targeted advertising to users we know to be under 18.

8. Notifications

If you enable notifications, we will send you the morning prayer (or its opening line) at the time you choose. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings or within the app.

9. Not a Substitute for Professional Help

The Service is offered as a source of spiritual encouragement and community. It is not a substitute for medical care, mental health treatment, crisis intervention, or professional advice. If you or someone you know is in immediate danger or experiencing a mental health emergency, please contact local emergency services or a crisis line in your area (in the United States, call or text 988).

We do not read individual submissions in real time and cannot respond to emergencies described in prayer requests.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its name, logo, design, code, text (other than user submissions), and the daily prayers as compiled works, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the app on your personal device in accordance with these Terms.

11. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service;

use bots, scrapers, or automated means to access the Service or flood it with submissions;

interfere with the operation or security of the Service;

impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation; or

use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

12. Third-Party Services and Links

The Service relies on third-party providers, including cloud hosting, database storage, notification delivery, crash reporting, artificial intelligence processing, analytics, and advertising technology. The Service also contains links and advertisements that lead to websites and applications we do not operate. When you follow any such link, you leave the Service, and the terms of service and privacy policy of the destination site govern your use of it. We are not responsible for third-party sites, their content, or their data practices.

13. Changes to the Service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes but are not obligated to maintain any particular feature.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account from within the app or by contacting us. Because an account is required, deleting your account ends your access to the Service. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use poses a risk to others or to the Service.

15. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY PRAYER WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR SUITED TO YOUR BELIEFS OR CIRCUMSTANCES.

16. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($50).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

17. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.

18. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

Waiver of Right to Bring Class Actions and Representative Claims

You agree that all claims must proceed on an individual basis. To the extent permissible by applicable law, any relief must be individualized to you and shall not affect any other customer. You agree that you may bring claims against ZOX in only in your respective individual capacity and in so doing you hereby waive the right to assert or participate in a class action lawsuit or class action arbitration (either as a named-plaintiff or class member), and to assert or participate in any joint or consolidated lawsuit or joint or consolidated arbitration of any kind. If it is decided that applicable law precludes enforcement of any of this paragraph’s limitations as to a particular claim, then that claim (and only that claim) must proceed in court and be severed from any arbitration.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by other reasonable means before the changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
